Ohhh MY GODD.. people out here is stright up retarded, that setup you are doing is no different than an LS/Vtec, all you are doing is stroking a gsr, giving it more displacement.. off couse is gonna run better, you are making a bigger motor.

yea but if your gonna do it don't use oem shit besides the crank. use aftermarket rods n pistons for your desired steup. it's a waste of money imo to put stock ls internals ina gsr block.

i have to disagree with you here ls/v...unless he is looking for a HIGH revving motor or high boost...stock rods with arp rod bolts will do him justice. i doubt he is looking for a 53409755whp beast.

my boy did a "hiden lsvtec ina gsr block with pr3 pistons, stock rods with arp rod bolts and built head and put out very very impressive #'s

look i had a built poor man b4 and this time im lookin to do a lil different ok i no ls happen to put ok some more torque than a gsr also i dont really have alot of $$ and i have a ls block for parts and thought y not use those internals i might mike some good power with the b16 head

^^^they are all the same...but a GREAT investment would be a ctr pulley. something "small" but often over-looked that DEF makes a difference for several reasons

Now I have 2 heads a Gsr Nd a b16 wich is better for a all motor build
