  • spun bearing question

    I got a ls block with a spun bearing and was wondering what is the complete process to repair the block.Any info will help.Someone brake it down for me lol thanks guys

    spun rod bearing? or main bearing? If it's a stock ls and you don't plan on building it. It'd be easier/cheapier to just get a new good block

        you got two options, 1) if the crank looks too scored send it to the machine shop $$$. 2) if its scored but rounded, use oversize bearings.

            usually rod bearings go...so with that being said I would do like ls/vtec said and get a new block. In most cases if a main bearing goes then the mains are scorn also...$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
