    how do i convert a obd1 gsr to a obd2 so i can drop it into my ej8? i was told i can use my stock ex obd2 injectors and the stock harness. but what about the distributor and alternator?

    de pin ur stock dizzy n alternator plugs and then put the pins in the obd1 plugs. And your done.

        will i need a obd2 to obd1 jumper harness for the ecu? i kinda want to stay obd2 for emission purposes..

          your ecu has nothing to do with your dizzy or alternator. if you want your harness to be plug and play you either need to A) Get obd2 B Series Alternator and B Series Vtec Dizzy OR B) Depin the original plugs and pin in the OBD1 Plugs.

          As for ecu thats a whole differ story. You can buy a jumper and run obd1. Or you can get a OBD2 P72 and plug it right in and go. Either way it will be plug and play becuase the jumper harness requires no wiring. Just simply plug and play. And it doesn't matter wether you run obd1 or obd2 alternator/dizzy because both are compatiable with each obd1 or obd2 ecu. You can run obd1 injectors, dizzy and alternator on a obd2 ecu just like you can run obd2 dizzy, alternator n injectors with a obd1 ecu. Shits easy.

            would i throw any codes keeping it obd1 injectors dizzy and alternator with my obd2 ecu?
