Turbo Cams

Sooooo ... I thought I did a decent amount of research on some cams but apparently not?

I wanted something a bit better then GSR for a turbo setup, but didn't wanna spend an arm and a leg....

I ended up putting money down on some Blox Dual springs and Competition Turbo Cams. Buuuuut, now I am looking - I just don't see how these make any power with such small duration and lift

OR, am I misreading the specs because a lot of companies are measuring @ 1mm?

Any input is appreciated, the deal is done so please don't tell me to buy a different one. Just want some valid input on power gains and what not if possible.

The cams you have may not give you a much better peak horsepower, but they in turn give you a much more practical powerband due to the fact that they promote quicker spooling of the turbo.

no prob bro. i have heard mixed reviews about blox check duration lif and spring pressure and all that from manufacture bro it would suck for you to do all of this and crack a retainer like this pic rite here

in this case it was maybe being used a few more times then it should have from head to head. but ask Dave he is the one that can give you a good insite on all of this.

it all depends on your set up...me personally i do not like turbo cams...i have used gsr, type r, and sk2 pro1's on my bigger built set ups. like sum1 stated b4, those cams have better profiles and lift duration over turbo cams
