If your fans don't work and it's hot out you're car WILL overheat and shut off. Happened to me when I had my DA. I'd check to see if your fans are in proper working order as I said. If they're fine, they replace the thermostat.

naw temp is fine cr isnt over heating , fans work,,cecked te main realy, did a tune up,got a new gas filter, soo im stumped lol but not its doing it all te time dont matter if it hot or not the ceck engine light pops up ten dies

its not my head gasket, cars not over heating or blowing out white smoke,i took the main realy apart an noone of the solders r messed up an i can here it click soo idk

O2 Sensor shouldn't cause that. You can un plug your O2 sensor completley n the car will still run.

Try replacing the thermostat like jdmjunkie said but yeah, check your cat as well.

I don't see why the thermostat would make the car shut off...
