96 ek ls swap problem..

ma boys engine keeps jumpin up eretime he acclerates.. we changed tha mounts and tha tierods n still tha same thing.. wat culd it b.. ive seen alot of shit but ive neva seen this shit soo idk how to help him.. lemme kno ne suggestions he wants to get his car back on tha road..

ummmmm.....sounds like its ur motor mounts really,could me loose or shot or using the wrong mounts.Check the helper mounts to.Make sure the tranny is bolted on tight.Bolts maybe broken on motor mount.Is it jumping timing or is the motor look like its gonna come out of the egine bay.The only thing bracing the motor to the chasy are the mounts besided the trannt and motor being bolted together.Sounds wierd if its not that.

it lik jumps up n hits tha hood.. it was driving fine.. n than u kno how niggas lik to beat on their cars wen they get a swap lol it just started jumping up n hitting tha hood lik u cant even drive it witout doing that..

Theres no way it CANT be a mount check them ALL.If it was fine before sounds like you may have broken or bolt could have backed out.Did you check the rear mount and bracket,if that one is loose it will make the motor rock ALOT.The tranny mount and mount on timing side really "hold it in place" for lack of better words.If those gave out or a bolt backed out or broke, the motor would colapse on its side.Check the helper mounts on the inside frame right behind the tire...goes from the block to the front beam.If those go bad you have a little rocking and some banging and clunking when accelerating.

^^agreed...its your mounts op, if you have stock mounts WITHOUT the torque mounts...the one on the bottom of the block that bolts to the chasis and the one that bolts to the tranny to the other side of the chasis then your motor is going to hit the hood. your best bet would be to get aftermarket mounts!

Yes as they both stated those are the torque mounts. Looks like they don't do much but they prevent your motor from swinging back n forth.

its the driver side mount. the pillow mount is all out of fluids. thats why itkeeps jumping. get pick one from autozone i thnk theyre like 60 bucks or some shit.

aight now dat we did all tha mounts he goes to drive it n its a loud cracking sound.. n than i saw that tha axle popped out a lil bit.. this nigga dont eva chek shit twice b4 he drives lol tha motor shakin is solved now tha sound seems lik it culd b tha axle popped out.. soo i think we shuld b good
