its a full race setup,,,but im using oem gsr rods/pistons in my lsvtec setup this year on race gas,, dyno tunning it to 450+ whp,,,we'll see how she holds,,ur def ok for 300-350 in a daily,and u seem patient enough to get all the right parts which will benefit u in the end

Stick with the GSR tranny, it has perfect gear ratios for a turbo. The LS is the weakest B series tranny out there, and the gears are so long that even with a turbo, you wont see a benefit in acceleration. The only thing you need to do to your tranny is get LSD. The #1 reason people blow up their tranny is because they were doin a 1 tire burnout. If both your tires are spinning at the same speed, your golden

Yeah I was looking into that too! lol but damn 900-1100 for a quaife or kaaz LSD is $$...do you recommend any type of LSD?
