I have heard alot of bad things about royal purple so thats a hit or miss i guess.. but i personally have seen what rotella 15/40 does wel from what the company told us was not to use it we are not running deisel turbo this is what they said to us that they are not responsible for our ignorance. well that oil killed my boys ball bearing I.T.S turbo we put it thrue the test we disconnected the oil feed to the turbo and it took forever for it to come out into the bottle when we went to cold start it. this happened shortly after he started using rotella. i have personally seen people do fine with pennzoil and thats what we use at the shop with no issues at all.. well g/l bro

all oil today is compatible with each other, u can throw one bottle of purp , 1 of M1 , one of amsoil and one of wolf and it wont matter.

after going thru a royal purple seminar i will only use royal purple

the oil soaks into metal, even without oil it still stays lubricated. i had a chance to BS with the royal purple spokes man at a managment seminar in ohio and was convinced ever since!

well do u think that switching from reg oil to synthetic would hurt a motor? cuz ive heard people say yes and ive heard people say no

it is a old mans tail, back when they were introducing synthetic oils they were not all regulated by the gov so they could not be mixed. todays oil companies are regulated and standardized. all oil has to be compatible with eachother. so u can mix and oil with eachother granted they are the same weight oil!

I have mixed mobile one with royal purple, I have mixed synthetic with reg oil and i have had no problems with my old car at over 200 k and the engine is clean as ever and runs beautiful.

how many miles on the motor? has it ever had synthetic before? i switched from normal to synthetic on my old talon at around 140k.
