I bought the car from a guy who had cut every wire you can imagine, there were bare wires, unconnected wires, and alot of things didnt work right,or at all...so i figured id just redo it all while the car was sitting so ididnt have to worry about more problems down the road

well you live to far away for me to be able to help ....if you was closer I would come give you a hand...but what you should do in that case is....take out your dash board if you have not already.....and just match up as much as you can...most of the stuff that will be left over will be for the power things that did not come with a dx and that should be easy enuff as you don't have power locks, mirrors nor windows other then that everything else should be the same unless he also cut the wiring going out to the engine bay then it would be just easier to use the WHOLE EX WIRING FROM inside to out side the car.

yeah man,my dash is off and ive had to replace the entire harness, the engine harness isnt any problem at all,i just feel like more things should be plugged in to the harness and theres too many empty plugs...im really unexperienced when it comes to harnesses and stuff, but thanks for the tips dude

Don't give up ....by all means....you have everything you need right in front of you. look just get a manual or look up online for "DASH WIRING" and stuff i'm sure you will run in to someone who has a write up...people put dash boards in from other cars...and do the wiring...so I know you just trying to do a stock setup isn't going to be hard at all.....just take your time what ever's extra just leave it to the side.......or put the wiring through the holes that were if it was an ex it would have the switchs for it ....so who knows later on down the road if you want the power stuff you already did half the battle and ran all the wires.....your project don't sound hard at all....it just takes ALOT OF TIME....but if you can hold out and do it .....then you done did great for your self and learned something new to either do the next time if you had to or show or tell someone else who runs in to the same problem....i love the hybriding world.
