  • ys1 problem PLEEZ HELP!!

    i gota problem wit my 93 ls turbo da9 i just put another ys1 in it because my old one locked in 4th but with the new one ive run into a new problem n it seem like a clutch problem but after goin through every thing we still were unable to figure out the exact problem whts happenin is.. if i start the car in neutral i cant put it in any gear unless the cars rolling if i start it in 1st it shifts mint but when i stop if im in a gear it wont let me take it out of that gear or if its in neutral i cant put it in 1st its gota stage one racing clutch in it thts brand new with less then 4 miles on it.. if neone has ne suggestions as to wht it would b thtd b very helpful. thanks

    sure u put tha clutch togetha rite??? and aligned tha clutch with tha allignment tool..

        I don't really understand what you are trying to say, But check to see if your clutch pedal is bent and not engaging all the way. I had a similar problem in my ef and it turned out to be my clutch pedal bent. Def check that. My guess is a bent pedal or a stretched clutch cable.

            i still have my broken ass pedals in my closet lol. My shit broke in danbury. It wasn't pulling the cable all the way cuz the pedal broke. So I got it on the highway and just went right home. And once I got close it stopped working at all lol. I turned my car off at the light and put it in gear n started it and was on the road again lol. Shit was a bitch to change too.

              x2 ive had the same problems with my ef's,,,pedal assembly is a little weak for racing and after time it will break
              theres no replacment for boost:)

                im doin the re alignment today n changin the cable too ill look into the pedal. n i jus filled the tranny up when i put it in. ive been thinkin the clutch wasnt aligned right. thanx
