  • gsr helpppp

i got a 99 gsr swap i put into my 99 gsr hatch, i bought a si harness set down to my chipped p28, car gets fuel and turns over but will not start, i pulled plug and checked to see if there is spark and there isnt, i also had friend come by to check to see if his dizzy would work still nothing, any input on what it could be i checked all my grounds on motor and bought new plugs and wires along with dizzy, just cant figure out what is wrong with this swap and would like to have running before honda day.

if your getting fuel then it isnt the main relay,,sounds like a computer controlled problem,,, go to,,, http://phearable.net/ ,,,look at the pinouts nd make sure your igniter wires are correct,,,what kind of jumper harness did you use to go obd1?
            theres no replacment for boost:)

Check to see if you have your timing belt on. It happens. Also try just changing the ign coil.

pull distributor cap off and measure voltage at the coil, + side of coil blk/yel wire. if no volts check fuse under dash.

if your using a p28 make sure you also run an obd1 dizzy the the signal from it will be what the pcm is supposed to see. an obd2 style one might have a different set-up.also check the sensors in the dizzy. if the pcm isnt recieving a signal from the crank or cyp sensor it wont send a signal to the coil to energize it.
