  • type r sputtering...

    Ok so here's the deal.. did the type r swap in my coupe.. drove it today but at about 3k rpms it sputters and loses power.. idk what it is.. anyone have any input?

    gas lol. maybe firing order is not correct. make sure your tps plug isn't fucked up and all your injector clips are all the way on.

            check your harness my boys used too do the same shit. its eather that or ur computer

              It's not the tps and map sensors and I'm checking the firing order now.. if pep boys gave me the wrong distributor cap can that be doing it?

                  yo check the ecu maybe is burn i hade the same problem with my crx it only go up too 3k

                      open the ecu or ask one of your friends to let you use one of there ecu from there car and if it works than is the ecu

                        yea thats true happen to me also drive fine till 3k and wont pass it like i had a 2 step smh once i switch the ecu it was str8 where are u from

                          I had that same issue with my boy's car. It was the tps and map sensors switched. Try sswappin them back to the other one. The ecu if it was burnt would have a CEL on. My boys car had no CEL with the map sensor and tps backwards. He has a 2000 b18C with jdm p73 ecu. P28 should run anything.
