Yea it prolly off and that don't seem to good I wouldn't run it and check and make sure your timing is on point and not off a tooth

I bet you put it back on a tooth off so one side has more slack and the other side is too tight but be careful cause the tension on one side can cause it to snap

well the belt never came of it was just the dampner the pulley tht rotates and turns the alternator and all....but it never fully came out like i caught it in time.....so now im just wondering y the timing belt seems loose.... ??

Idk I would just say double check and make sure its on timing cause that's the only thing I can think of which will throw it off like that

just loosen the timing belt tensioner, then use a 17 to spin the crank pulley bolt (counterclock wise) just a little bit to put tension on the belt. then put tension on the exhaust cam by going (counter clockwise), then put tension on the intake cam (clockwise). all this will put tension back on the belt. and dont forget to tighten tensioner back up

theres a slimm washer like that keeps the belt from riding off the cam theres one on each side of the belt the one on the pulley side u might of lost it when it came off
