help! mechanic says b16a was wrong motor for my crx??!

damn thats a hike. but their is plenty of people out that way that'll fix it for you for a good price. The problem with garages and dealers is to them your shit is no good cuz it's not the original motor. Thats how they look at it. They normally don't have a lot of knowledge about swaps.

change secondary o2 sensor, make sure you have the right ecu, worse case senario call dave for a tune and he'll have the car running good, i had the same problm but since ur car is not obd2 all theyll do is sniff the exaust but after the tune it shud run good

i think the problem is the mounts and linkage. the tranny too. you need a hydro tranny. or a b16 tranny.
ill sell you my cable b16 tranny with lsd grinds 3rd in high rpms for $300
or ill sell you my mounts, linkage AND cable/hydro conversion for $400
