help! mechanic says b16a was wrong motor for my crx??!

hey guys im really frustrated right now. i brought my 91 crx to a shop down the street from me to look at a couple of things and the most important thing was to check about my rich gas smell i was getting because my car failed emissions because of the carbon levels and its "harm" to enviroment. So i brought it down and an hour later he called me telling me the reason why im getting that rich smell is because the guy i bought the car from had the wrong size motor in the car and that the 02 sensor isnt reading because its up against the fender with no room. now i have a b16a dual cam motor in that car and ive seen 100's of crxs with that same setup. does that make sense?!?!?!

hey i just picked up the car 3 days ago up in new york. im basically a n00b at cars and im just starting to learn everything so i dont know right now and even if i wanted to go look its in the shop till tommorrow mornning

He's trying to hustle you. PM "Jroc860". He is really good with cars and reasonable priced. And he wont try n hustle you. A stock B16 can pass emissions all day. And their is no O2 sensor anywhere close to the fender. If you wanna sell it PM me a price n pix.
