    u guys tell me whats up i have no idea. car i throwin smoke from the oil cap idles good and doesnt knock. idk wtf to do. mind u my car is b16b turbo

              i had the same problem from bad rings. It smoked like a bitch. i didn't bother compression testing. But I was getting blow by and smoking out my valve cover. Pull it apart and inspect it. have it rebuilt.

                i had a similar issue and i had 3 cracked cylinders, only way to find out is to loook farther into it

                    potentially, but you won't know until you get it apart.

                    a good way to tell if it's the rings is to do the compression test dry. then pour a cap full of oil into the cylinders that are low on compression. re-do the test and see if the compression comes up. that'll let you know if it's the compression rings that are bad.

                    but honestly, it sounds like the car ran lean and melted a ringland or two. ctr motors have high compression for boost.
