  • type r thermal intake manifold gasket

    i just bought one of these today because they lower the intake temperature i got mine from speed factory, has anyone ever used one of these

    i used one but it was on my tib and called a intake manifold spacer it just keep the mani cooler

      did u use a gasket with the spacer or just the "spacer", cause they call it the gasket for my car lol

        i have a hondata one on my ls teg n had a hondata on my type r. Only thing I hated was that it's so thick so it makes the studs short as hell. I didn't like that.

            yeah mines going on a type r head, the one i got is prolly almost 1/4 thick

              i've got one on my talon. i used two intake mani gaskets. one on the manifold side, one on the head side.

                im trying to find out if i need a gasket for mine since its called a thermal "gasket"....ls/vtec do you have just the hondata thermal gasket installed or did you have to use anything else?

                  i wouldn't trust just the thermal spacer as a gasket. i'd put a gasket on both sides.
