ok so im going to get called an idiot and ppl are going to talk shit and ask if i cant drive and all this other shit that i dont have time for... but.....

my GIRLFRIEND owns a 96 dx auto civic, now ive dumped stupid amounts of money into my car the within the last month and i wanna do suttin for her. i can get a fresh b18b automatic motor tranny harness ecu evrything i need out of a 94 teggy for my labor time. how hard and would it be possible to swap that into her auto ek... it is auto to auto and ive heard the ls auto tranny dont fit in a ek but at the same time anything is possible with a welder and hammer and torch so thats not an issue. my delema is ive been doing research for like an hour and all i can find is dumbasses talkin shit on the people that are intersted in doing this. just askin for a little insigt on what id be getting into. not trying to go 5speed she cant drive 5speed and not wanting to go single cam cause like i said i want to do a little suttin for her.

things ive heard about so far are the frame rail not letting it fit... some tcm or some shit like that and my biggest fear is the mounts can i cut them out the teg and weld them in the ek or what lmk please......... and once agian please keep the stupid comments to yourself i have mycar and she has hers. thanki you.

ok what do i have to do for the frame work like i said anything is possible with torch hammer and welder and i kinda have no choice but to do it she wants it she gets it.
so if you could maybe give me a link to how to do it or what to do thatd be sweet

lol. why dont you teach her to drive standard and get her a standard ek if it's not possible? I dunno. Never tried anything like this. But I know auto/standard use differ mounts. So you'd have to search and see if they make mounts for it. If so then it's def possible. If you have to make your own mounts n shit I wouldn't bother doing it.

lol yeah deffnot possible i have a stage 3 clutch and lightweight flywheel my shit loooocks up hard lol. she would never be able to learn on my shit lol... and shes not hand foot cordianted like that lol. but that would make my life easier. they make the obvious bseries engine mount but ii have not found the tranny mount part so im thinking heating up the frame rail and pound away for clearence then welod the mounts in out of the auto teg i have a whole car to take parts from i just dont know about the whole obd1 and 2 thngy ya know

my girl got in my boosted dc5 with a stg 4 clutch and handled it like a beast. if she wants to learn bad enough she will. but im with what ls/vtec said see if she can learn stick over time
