Edit: To the OP- I really hope you plan on getting this thing tuned thats alot of compression on pump gas untuned. IMO those pistons are more trouble than theyre worth Id stick with ITRsLast edited by SamN; 02-16-2010, 05:39 PM.

why ctr pistons??? there are plenty of 1.8 set ups making 215-220whp with pr3's. your compression will be too high and they are junk! heaver, more prone to detonation, and worse flame travel than any other bseries piston. you do not need sky high compression to make power.
a set up we did a few years ago
b18 block
rs machine 81.5 pr3's
stock rods/arp rod bolts
balanced rotating assembly
engine bearings from local machine shop
b16 stock head no porting/milling
supertech valvetrain
black nitrate flat valves
dsm 450cc's
blox type c's with gears
aem fpr stock rail
performer x intake manifold match ported to 68mm
cold air intake with velocity stack
rmf narrow header
3inch exh
we made 221whp with 147wt...tuned on hondata s300 by morris at midnight autoTeam T&W
Winning is the only option
