    Pros and cons for this set up? Anyone got some info let me know

    ctrs in a b16 block was my fav all motor set up i didnt the usuall 20 over and was a little beast!! have fun

      Yeah but what about the rods I heard some shit that you have to shave them 1mm on each side to get the ctrs to fit on b16a2 rods or just go with eagles.... little minor confusin. Im a single jingle guy this is my first b motor and im only going b cause everyone else is b turbo and I gotta keep up lol....

        when i did mine i used a stock xsi b16 block used origanl crank rods and bought oem 20 over ctrs did nothing to the rods. But im not sure how much has changed from each b16 rod in the past 20 years lol. But in my case slaped it together with no shavin!! I heard that motor is still running strong and i built it at least 5 years ago! g/l man

          ^^^ his shit use to rip.. HARD.. my boy bekim had the block, don't know if he sold it.

          they run nice because they piston sticks .013 our the hole, leaving you with a thigh quench. in reality they are the heaviest B series piston, like 35 grams more than the second heaviest. you don't have to mess with the rods at all, that's only on the B18A/B, you can't use aftermarket rods with factory pistons, all aftermarket rods are floating pin, and factory are press fit.

              Thats if you run ARP rod bolts on LS rods thats for sure. but stock rods stock bolts your good to go! have fun!
