  • gsr in 99 ek hatch

ok i'm running into problems with putting my gsr swap in my 99 ek hatch. i had it in 92 cx hatch which was plug and play but now i'm told to send my stock engine harness from my ek and harness for gsr to rywire but i am also being told to just buy si or ex harness from 99 civc and itll work fine. not really sure what to do or the best way to go.. any in put on this at all??

It'd be cheaper to get a si or ex harness. They will work. But if your motor is obd1 then the injector plugs, dizzy plug, and alternator plug will be differ.

It's really not hard to do at all.

Oh shit thats right obd2 teg harness's plug into eg's/dc's. Well im pretty sure the alternator plug on a pbd2 civic harness is differ than an obd2 integra harness. I think on the teg it is still the large round green one? And I know on a Civic it's a little green squared looking plug. But your best way is to get an SI or EX harness. Because it's really not needed to send it to rywire and wait/pay a lot of money.
