Start Up Problems

Hey....

My olders brother ls eg coupe been sittin in the driveway for about a year now and i just wanted to know if nebody knows why the brakes are locked up nd is there ne easy way to unlock them nd second he used to start the motor up every 2 weeks so the fluids would flow threw but he went about 3 months without starting it nd now when i start it the engine shakes like its about to blow ...should i change the oil or something....and the last thing...the car needs a jump to turn on but the moment i turn the car off it needs another charge...could it be that the alternator isnt keeping charge....please helppp

Your battery is prolly shot from sitting. Do a tune up. Spark Plugs, Fuel Filter, Oil Change, and possibly plug wires if they are beat. What do you mean it shakes like it's about to blow? It's prolly got bad mounts then.

nah the car doesnt shake that bad...i think because its been sitting for awhile that the oil is just got thick nd was settling but yeah i was thinkin bout doing a tune up

yeah man u need a new battery lol and for the brakes rear drum brakes always lock up it a pain in the ass take off the rear wheels and try to take off the drum and try to undo the starwheel adjuster to the point where u could spin it and the shoes are just scrapin the drum a tiny bit then ull be good then yea that thing needs a tune up as far as the motor and the battery is shot cause its been sitting the alternator is probably charging but the problem is the battery is fcked lol its always good to start the car up every once in a while and go for a lil ride that way every thing stays in tact lol gl man hope everything works out

try some new wipers... because it was sittin for so long they had to get worn.. dats y it shakes!!!

might be axles if u think the brakes are locked up.
