  • Idle Problem.

When at idle at a complete stop. If I turn my wheel my idle drops rly low or the car will stall. It's a teg with power steering. Any Idea's? I have my grounds all on. Timings good. Iacv is good. Coolants full. Tps is new.

Would a vaccum leak cause this?

Because when I start my car it starts up and revs slowly to about 1900 only when cold. then when it warms up it idles around 1400. Not up and down. Just constant 1400. I haven't tried fuckin with the idle screw on the throttle body yet. But thats my next guess is that the kid who I got the car from turned the idle up. Im running on a stock p75. I replaced my IACV and it idles smoother now.

so what your telling me is that when I turn my wheel and the car stalls thats normal? lol

I know the rpms normally drop a little bit. But the car shouldn't shut off.

As stupid as it sounds i checked my battery terminals and they were loose. So i'll tighten those whenever and see if maybe that fixes it. Im hoping it's something stupid like that!

I only have the one going from the fpr to manifold which is fine, And the one from the upper manifold to the pcv valve on valve cover. And thats good too. I think I may need to tighten my intake mani more. It's got a Skunk2 Mani and a hondata gasket which is madd thick so it doesn't leave much stud to put the bolt on so I didn't tighten too much cuz I didn wanna strip em. But im gonna re tighten em the next nice day.

there is a power steering pressure switch that bumps up idle when you turn the wheel. it is located on the pressure hose that goes to the top of the pump. the wire colors are usually green and black with a green connector.

Ok. Yea I know what your talking about. you think I need to replace the pressure switch? Because it's plugged in and has never been fucked with.

98-98 original motor. b18b. Now if i hit the gas and let off it will drop really low and barely idle or will stall. I hate honduh's. But I know it's something stupid!
