word..... get an aftermarket tach... my boys old D15B7 showed to be revvin out @ 5500 RPM, we hooked up an aftermarket tach and saw 1000 RPM higher on it.... the stock one seemed to get way out of calibration over 3k

Any check engine lights? There were a couple bugs in my car that gave me a 6500 rpm rev limit instead of 8k and they were easy fixes.
