Im going to be bringing my 98 civic dx with a fully built gsr. I need to know what i need to do to pass emissions. How can i pass emissions with a obd2a

well they will plug in to the car and it will tell them pass or fail CEL can not be on! must have a cat! other then that you will be good you cant be runnin any kinda obd1 jumper harness

Well you are obd2a. Best bet to do is plug in a stock ls ecu. And run it thru with that due to you will have a 2 wire IACV and all the single cam ecu's use 3 wire. Thats what im going to do with mine. Should have no problem aslong as you have a cat, 2 O2 Sensors 1 before cat and 1 after. And no Cel. And stock injectors too. Really not hard.

i have a big problem lol i have a jdm gsr lol and it only has one 02 sensor. But can i just add another one because im using a 96-98 ex harness and it has a few extra wires that i couldnt connect to my motor

It will have a type r intake mani wont it be looking for the gsr butterfly intake

the other one come up threw the floor near the center councel and usually plug in under the dash if it the same as a dc

When I put my swap in I a O2 Bung n welded it in after the cat cuz I have the cat on my header and it worked fine. But if you run a gsr ecu with the stock mani you will get a cel for the butterflies. Just run a p75.

I got to second this motion.. with a gsr ecu you will get an IAB code, and just for hahas i run one of them guarantee to pass bottles that your mix with your gas on the tank
