Ls block or b16 block

I have a 2000 si nd i was wondering would I get more power ou of my motor if I change the b16 block nd put an ls block or even a b20 block t would he ls/v is tht better then the reg b16a2? And ALSo how would I go about doing the change would I jus need different mounts or.....

same mounts you just need an ls/b20 vtec conversion kit and bring the head to the machine shop and get it tapped

Really it would be easier to jus put a Gsr blk right cause I dnt have to do anything lik buy the kit but I do have to buy mounts right what would be the best setup to do? Nd about how much u think it will cost

if u gt the block all u gotta do it slap the head on and ur good. im not sure but u might have to change the timing belt??? nigga the mounts are the same lol. mounts only change if ur putin a b swap in a ex or sumthin. u can find a gsr block 4 cheap on b20

i heard they shred timimg belts but they get it in there like 900 on ebay. if anything gets sum valve springs and retainers and then get the cams, it all depens on wat u want tho

F tht I ain't spendin so much on cams lol prob get skunk 2 then I jus want a mild build lol more power thts all not looking to be crazy fast I would be happy wit gsr block nd call it a day
