blown fuses???????

idk y all of a sudden inma 91 ls the radio fuse will go out but itl blow the cig lighter 2 on the fuse cover it says they are diff fuses but once i replace the radio fuse both work but itl pop again. but sometimes itl pop rite away and sometimes itl last a while idk havent goten in and checked it i removed ma radio and the wiring and it still pops fuses so its not my radio any ideas ???? tahnks in advance

could be grounding out somewhere and its common for the radio and cig lighter to be connected or on the same fuse

yeah i figured that but on the fuse cover the cig lighter and the radio are sep fuses but only one blows and they both go out unless its the wrong fuse cover cuz i have like 3 and they are diff ima take it tom and check it just frustrating just started 2 days ago anyone got sum gs 6 spokes need sum asap

i say its touching metal(ground)so it keeps causing it to blow the fuses..check your connections on both radio and cigarett lighter

yeah i looked at the connections they are good but i wont even have anything plugged in as in the lighter or no radio connected and itls still blow i think one of the wires in the harness snagged and is touching under the dash

yeah i know its gota b that just havent had a chance to get in ther and follow the wires and i did i even put a 30 and it blows

this didnt always happen, so what did u do before this all started to happen?

nothin i never had a pronlem until about last friday it blew like 2 fuses ui drove all the way to jersey and it was fine and now itll wrk for a while then blow but then sumtimes keeps blowin rite away idk i need to get in there and look at the wires

sounds like u need a new motor
