it is hard to say i know there some be some play if you look in a service book it will tell you how much play there sould be crank end play. if you put new washers drop it in and fire it up not to much more you can do. the tranny being bolted up to it dont make it any more or any less play

that block should not have any end play is not a DSM when its all back together if u have a high rated pressure plate your only going to ************ it up more. You need new thrust washers that GO TO THAT BLOCK not just any old b motor thrust washers. After buying new ones read your Haynes manual you have to check for certain clearances. like I said it shouldn’t have any end play the transmission is holding pressure on the crank at the moment and that’s why u seem to think it took end play away but once you put your foot to that clutch and start up your going to thro you bottom end off balance.

I only heard of a Honda crankwalk one other time and it was about 1/4 inch side to side now that’s bad.

update :::: so everyone that said there should b no play was rite because now that i changed the bearings nd thrust washer torqued everything properly there is no movement in the crank ... and the machinist i brought the crank to for polishing said it looked like there was 276k miles on it not 76k like the guy i bought it from stated
