    Well I finally got the jdm gsr engine in my eg coupe and running, but its throwing a cel and my mechanic says its a knock sensor. When the engine is cold I can get away with 10 minutes of driving before it turns on, and when its warm it'll turn on as soon as I give it some gas. So I'm wondering what to do, is the stock fuel pump not sending enough juice, bad sensor, or fuel filter? Just looking for some input to get this problem solved... any help is greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.

        If ur mechanic says itsthe knock why are you asking? Is ur knock sensor plugged in? Ur eg didn't have a knock so u should have had to wire it. It definitely has nothing to do with ur fuel pump or fuel filter there are no codes for either it's either ur knock vtec solenoid vtps or iabs more than likely but a check engine could be for anything go get the code and check it... There is a way to pull codes for A reason the question ur asking is like calling ur doctor and saying "I don't feel well what's wrong" get All the information that's available to you and use it

          if you don't have a p30 ecu then the knock code will come up.
