  • replaced the axel seal twice in a week still leaks

    i have n ls in n eg 4 dr and n ls trannny and the axel seal was leaking so i replaced it.... when i drove after replace it not even 50 miles it was leaking again so i replaced it again and it still leaking and i dunno what to do... does any one have any tips?lmk

    Did u install it correctly improper sitting of the seal will cause it to leak

        you need a 98 seal

          change to oem axle seals and also the shift shaft seal while you're at it.

            yea i did it correctly the scecond time i even used sylacone n it still leaked so try n oem it should work?

              n whats the diff bewteen the 98 n what ive been getting was a 96

                you gotta be sure that seal is 100% flush with the case, what i usually do is use the same 32mm socket you use for the axle nut, it fits the seal perfectly so that you can drive it in straight and easy.

                  word im gunna pick up n oem one from a honda dealer ship n see what happens n hopefully it works but until then its just sitting cuz it be leaking
