whats good ctvtec, im trying to pull the oil pump off my ls but its stuck on there good. i removed the timing belt, oil pan, and pick up tube. and all the bolts are off. do i have to take the gear off too, and if i do how do i do that?

Lol if you're trying to take the oil pump off without removing the crank pulley and timin gear it's never gonna happen. Take off the 19 mm bolt from the crank remove the pulley and don lose the key. Then remove the timing gear make sure u have all the 10mm from the pump and slide it off

It's just hondabond it shouldn't be hard to get off. Make sure you didn't miss a bolt if they're all out use a rubber mallet on the inside of the oil pump and hit it off. The pump should have 2 dowel pins holding it to the block that's probaly what's stuck. From under the car just tap the pump off. If you don't have a rubber mallet wrap a towel or something around a hammer to soften the blow and don't hit it too hard. On second thought you're prolly replacing the pump cuz there's really no other reason to remove it. If you're replacing it hit it as hard as you want lol
