  • trouble after swap

    ok so i swapped my ls from my cx hatchback into my ex coupe now everything is hooked up rite grounds are good fuses are good .. but i'm not getting power to the relay i dont' think because theres no clicks nd the check engine light doesn't cycle .. ecu/ fuse rite but its not tried diff ecu and checked fuses again ..

    i guess my real ? is is there a diff in the cannon plugs on the ex vs. cx engine harnesses i'm about ready to drop this coupe off a t the junkyard nd try to buy a 86 rex nd start all over dont' really want to though

        check your main relay take ot out the1 from the hatch and switch it with the 1 from the coupe

          ok played w/ sum grounds .. got the c.e.l. lite to cycle rite fuel pump primes think its suttin in my dizzy

                mixture of wet dizzy bad coil / igniter .. nd i put like 2 gallons of gas in but w/ the car still jacked up at a tall angle it wasn't enough 4 it to pick it up

                  ohh yea that will do it for sure i remember one day i degrease my engine bay and i dint cover the dizzy car started drove for about a mile then it shut off at a red light. no tools on me or nothing bad night i was blowing into the dizzy trying to get the water out lol

                      if it happens again check you ground on the thermostat housing. Same thing happened to me n all it was, was one of the wires came un done.
