  • Ls map sensor problem

ok so the guy who had my car before me rewired a map sensor to my throtle body instead of just running a vacum line to the intake manifold so rather than having the sensor in the right corner of the engine bay and having vacum lines runn off of it i have a denso sensor right ontop of my thorttle body and a little clip that go's on the sensor and the three wires that come off of that go through my firewall to god knows were so my problem is that the wires are shot and the car runs like shit unless i hack them back together i've done this 5 times and am getting sick of it so how do i rewire it to stock the check engine light is on if that helps any

If you want you can wire direct to the ECU by finding the pin outs for the map.
http://www.ff-squad.com/technet/wiring.obd1.htm that will help you alot for wiring it direct.
make sure when you do that, take the batt POS wire off while working with the ECU wires
