what would the car ever being auto have anything to do with it? could it be my pedal assembly getting loose or a bolt came out that is holding the assembly down?

you mean hydro to cable conversion right...because 95 is hydro so i think you have air in your line but if its cable check thar throw out bearing dude...

I have even seen people put the wrong flywheel/clutch combo together. The fingers on the pressure plate don't stay at the right level

nah he means its a hydro car with a cable trans..the kid that had the car proir was a for real hack jobber..I say pull the motor, redo the bay, and sell that tranny..I think its a jdm b16 so im sure you could get some $$ for it, then buy a hydro b16...Ill help ya with the bay if you want..But I know u got the ill bodywork skillz

She drivessssssss! This mutha zip tied the top of the clutch pedal to the bolt hole and when I banged gears its snapped....so I tossed a bolt in there and viola that's why my pedal went to the floor.......thanks guys for all the help....and my new clutch setup is nasty=-)

yea when peopel install the new pedal for the clutch (because auto does not have a clutch pedal :confused:) they either dont put that top bolt in or they put a cheesy one in it comes out or breaks. :D
