my b16a3 starts up and idles just fine but for some reason it wont pass 3000 rpm in any gear. the car is a 92 civic si with a b16a3 swap im running a p28 ecu. i did the cel code test and the only codes i get are code 7 which is tps and a code 22 which is oil pressure sensor (for vtec) i just got another tps sensor so im going to try that when i get home anyone have any suggestions.......

i tried doing that yesterday and checked the cel code again same 2 codes 7 & 22..... so i took off the tps and it was in pieces so this morning i went and got another tps from the junkyard hopefully its fine......
another question when i put the wire harness on i noticed it didnt have the plug to plug the o2 sensor in or the oil pressure sensor plug as well as tge vtec solenoid plug none of them were on the wire harness and the guy who traded it to me guarenteed it was an eg ex harness......

if none of that is there then its not a Vtec harness and that explains why you getting code 22. get a new harness with the right stuff install your new tps and that should fix your prob
o yea you also need to connet your o2S3-R
