    Trying to assemble my b16. And dnt have the instructions that came witht he head studs..arp. I need like a write up or something. I've searched and cnt find shit. I need to know exactly how to install them, using motor oil, and what the torque specs are. Thanks!

    your supposed to use the supplied ARP assembly lube, and i belive its 80-85lbs to be torqued to, u can prob get the lube at a machine shop

      to install just thread them in the block first, then put head on, place washers on and tighten the nuts with a torque wrench, a good one, not some cheap ass one

          Yeah, You should use the ARP molylube, but you can use 30 weight oil.

          1.) Check Head bolt holes in block & tap only if needed
          2.) Apply molylube or oil to the threads
          3.) Install into the block Hand tight only
          4.) Install head & make sure head does not bind on any of the studs
          5.) Drop the Washers & ARP Nuts onto the Studs (Make sure you have everything lubed)
          6.) Hand tighten all the ARP Nuts
          7.) Torque down all the ARP Nuts from the Center 2 studs then work your way out to the sides of the head, in a criss cross action.
          8: if you used ARP molycoating, Torque Nuts down to 80ft-lbs. If you used 30 weight Oil, torque Head down to 100-120ft-lbs.

            y such a big diff in torques because of the lube???? sorry but doens't make sense to me ..... guarentee ur rite but jus wonderin

              The Molylube is a friction based lube that does not require as much torque.
