  • rpm problem now

ok so i bought a 93 gsr distributor and re wired it and the car runs now but i have no rpm gauge now.....or speedometer.....and its weak so must be the wrong distributor idk.....should i just take it off and put like a del sol b16 internals in....becuase idk if the 1.8 gsr internals are making the car run different then the 1.6 ones will

i didnt go by that diagram up top because a few ppl said to match the colors and most of them did match but there was 2 white wires and u had to look for the bigger 1....well i ran those white wires both ways they can be....1 way wont start....and the other way will start but no gauges again...so somehwere in the same colored wires somethings wrong...and im not even sure if that diagram applies to me because when i ran it that way everything looked messed up

Yeah, the dizzy is what gives the tach signal.

You need to find a wire diagram from both harness' your using and then wire it, color matching might not work.
