Ls vtec not that much power

I got a ls vtec with a 99 b16 head built and for reason it dont run near as good as a gsr i cant seem to figure out wat it could be i am also runninga p06 ecu which is for d16z6 but even with my boys p28 chipped for his gsr it dont really seem like it should run like it should it doesnt burn oil and runs fine i've been told it could be out of timming but I dont think so since it has power but maybe i just need to rev that motor mad high to get power if ne1 got ne ideas of wat it could be thanks

first of all a p06 is a singlecam non vtec computer and and p28 is a singlecam vtec computer/b16 so with you not even know the computer your using can just tell me how much other shit is wrong in this swap

it depends on ur set up as well cams, pistons if ur using b16 cams try some bigger cams like gsr ctr or itr cams...in terms of pistons itr pistons in a ls puts alot of high compression.......u want serious power exchange ur ls rods for gsr rods and use ctr pistons yeilds higher compression then itr

it depends personally hondata is doing it right now but...check out itr and ctr ecu the jdm ones are less then 350.. on ebay

uhh yeh gsr basemap will run an lsvtec shitty w/out the intake mani. sohc ecu's period suck on dual cam motors. either b16/type r or go get a tune
