radio help needed

So the other day I go to hook up my kennwood headunit and all of a sudden I see some smoke while messing with wires and then my interior lights, cluster lights, trunk switch and power locks all stop working.....weird if you ask me.....head lights and tails work...

My question is does anyone know what happen?? Is there a fuse for this or what?

Start of with ur fuses bro..same shit happend to me in my Acura and popped all my fuses...so I would start with that

I checked fuses they seem good so idk wth is going on..

Check the wires on the cluster see if they have power if not it might be a relay or something dumb

there might be a secondary fuse under the hood .... there is in egs so check that . but now dont you fell like a dick for being to lazy to disconnect the battery. i know when it happened to me i did.
