i installed a radio in my car everything is connected right it works fiine when car is not on all the way but when i turn on car nd step on gas snds lik i have a supercaherger lol it whistles it comes threw the speakers... dnt kno wat is help me out thnxx

radio is not grounded right.. u need to take a ground wire, bridge it off the ground in back of the radio n ground it to the fram of the car..i had this problem...Comment

do u have a amp 2 ?? if so are your a/v wires runnin next to ur power wires.. if so that could b sum of the prob. i always run mine on opposite sides hope i could helpComment

did u scrape enough paint off were u grounded it ? and are your amp wires run on opposite sides for a/v and power/remote? try that if notOriginally posted by jrem1 View PostComment

you might need a ground loop isolator it looks like a little distortion blocker this happend to my cuzzins rsx and we got this and the sound went awayComment

I've had this problem in my DC. But never had it in my DA. Turns out that my crossover was bad 'cause when I removed it the noise went away, still had some engine noise though. You could have a ground loop or something. Read about it on Google. Also, since you have an amp, make sure you run the remote wire with the power wire on one side of the car and the RCA's on the other side of the car. Unless you have like Stinger wires or something then it doesn't matter as they are shielded. I could come take a look at it for you if you aren't too far lol. bannaHidin' out
