everything cuts out but my sub????

ok so ive been tryin to figure this bullshit out for the last week now ive done almost everything i can think of but when im driving if i go over a bump or even jus the vibration from the motor all my speakers cut out exept for my sub sub still bumps to the song but no speakers ive take the headunit out cut all the wires and butt connected them and its still doing it i even took the speakers out n respliced so all the wires were fresh n its still doing i swapped headunits to n still does it my guess is that its the harness that plugs into the headunit itself cuz i re ran respliced n butt connected everything all over again it i think i have a short soomewhere but i just dont know where to look anymore it doesnt do it when im stopped just when im driving any help would be appreciated

idk the headunit stays on n shit everything else works but the speakers n the speakers r good

Are the speakers ran to an amp? If so check the remote ground and power cable.

It could be ur headunit....replace it with a diff one and drive around for a day or 2 and c what happens

If u have a way solder the wires to each other, check ground cables, remote, and Chevy the connectiong to the speakers, if can solder those to the speakers trust me best thing to do since I had this problem before.

check all wires sounds like a bad ground or a shorted wire of some sort if that doesnt do it maybe the hu is on its way out try testing another one

the ground to the speakers that are cutting out is touchin bare metal. make yur yur wires are all covered & not able to touch any other grounds or metal

If one speaker grounds out, its gonna trip the head units internal amp. One of ur speakers is gounding out against the body of the car. Find it
