  • no power to amp

Had a single 10 with matching amp in my car. Was working fine till the other day it just stopped. I got back in my car a few mins later turned it on & it worked for a lil bit then stopped again. Thought it was the amp so I picked up new subs & amp. Everything is connected the correct way but the lights on neither amp turn on. Any suggestions or ideas why the amp isn't turning on
I've had numerous amp & sub combos in this car & never had an issue till now

make sure you have all connections are proper.. grounds usually act up. just take your time and redo all the wires.... if its a remote wire problem quick test is to just take a small strand of wire and jump the 12v to the remote turn on if it does not work check your ground . make sure you have voltage from the positive i seen people try to do this and never had power from the batt. if you have any questions just ask.

Ive got the perfect solution to all of those problems..... Dont install them in the 1st place stock speakers are good? Y waste the trunk space and battery life -__-

But good luck figuring it out

I ran a wire from 12v to remote & the blue power light came on but the subs don't do anything

If new audio cables didnt work the pre-amp or the rca preouts shit the bed, havnt seen it in the past but i had a poineer last yr do the same thing to me.. i swapped out decks and everything came back to life. Took the deck back to best buy the next day.. I guess this new stuff they make these days is junk now
