radio question

i have a 95 accord......now the stock honda radio works.....but when i put in my aftermarket that i no is not broken it wont power......so i tried another stock honda radio and that doesnt get power either....im just curious why no other radio except for the stock 1 is getting power?

you hook up both power and acc wires? get out the volts meter best way to test whats wrong..

well the aftermarket cd player i ran all the wires mint and it didnt work.......so i tried to stock accord radio and thats all plug and play i didnt have to wire it cuz it just clips in and it turned on........so i said ok i have a prelude cd player and thats just plug and play too and when i hooked it up its not getting any power

Just run your own power and ground? Lol. Red from a switched power source when you turn the car on, yellow needs to be a constant power from the battery and ground it where ever.

thats just how i got my system lol i ran a wire from tha bettery n it works just fine

if your other radios work somthns wrong. Tie red an yellow togthr. Open ur hood. Put those on + batt an black wire on - batt. Tell me if ur radio turns on. If not its your radio. If it turns on cheak ur constant power in the car.
