Tweeter help

I'm trying to connect 2 tweeters to a 2 channel amp but when I do it sounds lik static I run the rcas from radio to an eq which then has rcas going to my sub then to my other amp nd I cnt get the tweeters to sound with out static

What kind of tweeters are they? Very rarely do you connect tweeters straight to an amp without using a crossover, if they sound really staticy, chances are you blew them or you dont have them on the right crossover frequency
