Help!!! Having problems with my system

k so i got my system connected right but the protection light comes on wn i connect the ground wire wat could the problem be?

amp is no good or ground it somewere else its probly interfiring with something else..

Try connecting the ground first(making sure its on bare metal for good ground) then connect. the power wire... also check the remote wire.. you may have to splice the remote wire with the power and acc wires behind the head unit..

FT let me try that real quick and wat you mean by splicing the remote wire with the power, and acc wires

he means hook the remote wire for the amp into the red power wire for the head unit. sumtimes the antenna wire or w.e doesnt work. i always slice my remotes into the radio power wire

Throw your system away..lol..probably the amp is shot or u are connecting the power and ground backwards,or what the guyz have mentioned
