    i have a cap that has to be charged but i had it charging in the car 4 like 4 days now it still says 0. for volts any help i got it all hooked up to the amp should i un hook the amp and see if that helps

    you were suppose to charge it via a 1k ohm resistor before connecting it directly to your battery you mite have fried it.

          you have to charge it. you cant just put it in the car. that wont charge it. DO like the above said.

            how just hook the cap up thats it dont run no wires to the amp right

              To charge a cap, you need to ground it first, then take the resistor that came with the cap and touch one side to the positive terminal on the cap, and the other side to the power wire, your cap will take about ten seconds to charge, the numbers will go up. IF you dont have the resistor to charge the cap, your cap is basically useless.
