The B20 is really just an LS with a bigger bore, which means thinner cylinder walls. They have the same stroke, just a different bore which gives the B20 more displacement. If you're just going with a stock setup with bolt ons then I'd say to go B20v.

              B18B1
              Bore: 81mm
              Stroke: 89mm
              1834cc

              B20B
              Bore: 84mm
              Stroke: 89mm
              1973cc

same stroke w/ larger bore = 139cc added displacement to the B20
