Hey ctvtec I just orderd a set of the nippon racing pistons ctrs from ebay for my b18b1 and just wanted to see if anyone has used thes for a all motor build. I also ordered acl bearings and arp rod bolts for the build.

only thing is i think for ls rods u need to have them machined to fit inside the pistons.

Nippon pistons are cheap.I purchased some from a eBay member which was from puerto Rico. The guy sent me the wrong pistons and then had me reship them back to then take another year to send me the so called proper ones.they have horrible customer service and I wouldn't recommend Nippon to anyone. Either then that, yes they will fit and do it's job but how long will they last?not long.pistons are cheap that they might just melt.

Well you should watch who you buy your parts from and mine are coming form CALI with great feedback. And if you haven't ran the pistons then you should stop bash them. I'm looking for peoples opinons that are running/ran them. And if they would melt then the turbo d's wouldn't run them.
