High Compression SOHC

I have some PM7 (ZC) pistons and rods and a ZC head laying around so I figured while I got my car running I might as well buy a D16Z6 and do a high compression build with those pistons. I used a compression calculator and i should have 12.48:1 compression. I was wondering if anyone has any input on it or any recommendations for parts to include in the build or if they can think of better use of the pistons and/or head. Thanks

do it right because i am doing the same going a different route no nos just all motor doing itb manny and bisimoto cams and flat valves all stage 3 and bisimoto headers as well so imo this is the best way to do a perfect build and a banging tune

yea i know but its my dd but i am building 2 motors one stock and one all motor idk if i want to go 76mm for piston and do a 5 angle valve job port and polish and what not and push it more so idk and some eagles rods and buy a rebuild sohc tranny and lsd it and what not act clutch

im looking to spend maybe $1000 on the build... Basically im thinking about buying the z6 and using my pm7 pistons with maybe a stage 2 cam, skunk 2 intake and valves? I dont know yet though... I figure if i spend more than $1000 i should just buy a b-series

Thats why im saying I wont spend more than $1000... Besides I'm trying to build this for a crx so I would prefer to stick with the d series rather than spend the extra $300+ to swap to b or even h. I had a hf with a gsr and it was mad fast but this time I wanna do something that wont cost so much
