This is what happens w/high comp overrev

This is what happend to my US typeR with 13.1 compression pistons, GSR head with flat valves, typeR spring retainers, GSR cams and a 10.5k rev limiter< bad idea should have had it tuned and a low rev put in
I was racing up in hartford last year and overreved my shift and BOOM went my motor that i loved so much. that car hauled some serious ass too, it was in my green 92 GSR.

yeah, but actualy i didnt blow up my JDM TypeR that was someone i let drive my car, they are on this forum, not going to say who, and the CTR was the engine shops fault, but its kool, im used to my motors blowin up

And heres the car it was in, never got to take it to the track but it def would have been high 12s, if i tuned it and put cams, springs, retainers like i was, it would have went low 11s

i remember seeing that car motorless in that garage a while ago.. i cant remember why we were up there. to buy 5lug? shit my memory sucks.

anyways that sucks.. i've done that before mine looks a little worse haha I totally destroyed the piston, bent the rod and blew a chunk out the sleeve on my 12:1 ls/v with s2 s2 cams and no rev limiter on a stock itr valvetrain :/ needless to say im a little smarter now.

yeah im smarter now too, but yeah thats what my jdm R looked like half the sleave was gone and piston was no ware to be found
